Underwhelming deals for me personally. Might pick up EYE although it doesn’t sounds so great. Railworks 3 is an awesome deal, but I don’t think it’s my kind of game. Dirt 3 was dirt cheap on Ebay for a while there. So, $17 seems high to me.

Steam Holiday Pro Tip
If you’re new to the Steam Holiday sales, there’s an important thing to remember. There will be tons of games on sale throughout the sale. However, every day there will be a limited number of games listed as daily deals that come with deep discounts. So, the secret is to wait and see if the game(s) you want to buy pops up as a daily deal. If it doesn’t you just buy it during the last day of the sale, which is usually a repeat day. The repeat day is when they re-list a selection of the daily deals again.

The Great Gift Pile:
1. Play games and complete objectives announced each day.
2. When you do, you’ll either get a gift from the Great Gift Pile or a lump of coal.
3. If you get coal, you can either craft it into a gift from the Great Gift Pile or save your coal up as entries into the Epic Holiday Giveaway on Jan 2nd

Today’s objectives are:
1. Steam = Get what you want – trade! Go to your Friends List and make a trade! Games, coupons, coal (I suggest trading coal for coal)
2. EYE Divine Cybermancy = The Gift – Pick up the gift
3. Frozen Synapse = Now I Have a Machine Gun Ho Ho ho – Play an instant Skirmish and win with only your machine gunner left alive
4. Audio Surf = Candy Stripe – Make a candy stripe
5. Greed Corp = Walking in a winter wonderland- Win a match in a snow map in either the campaign or in battle mode
6. Fate of the World = Let it Glow – Plunge the world into Global Thermonuclear War by 2075
