Guys, I recommend not buying any games from any site until Steam puts up their Summer Sale. Supposedly it starts today at 1pm. If you’ve been on the site the last couple of days, you might have noticed some games have gone up for sale for a few minutes only to go down. It could have been Steam setting up sale prices in preparation for this Summer Sale.
Even if you’re a fan of one of the other digital distribution sites, keep in mind that when the Steam sale goes up, D2D, GamersGate, etc are going to be competing for the same customers so there will probably be sales on all the major sites. This is what happend during the Steam Winter Sale.
So, the sale might not start today or tomorrow, but it’s definitely coming so hold on to your wallet for now. I’ll stil be posting deals but I recommend you only buy if it’s something you want to play right away or if it’s an insanely good price. (Or if it’s a game Steam doesn’t offer, like the casual games on Big Fish Games).
