Not a deal but I’ve been waiting for this game to come out. Right now Steam is finally doing pre-orders on Rocksmith. In fact it’s been confirmed via twitter that this game uses Steamworks.
This is the game where you plug in an actual guitar using a propiety cable. Kind of like a Rockband with real guitars.
Cheapest price I’ve seen for retail is $76 at Buy.com. That’s only about $4 off but it comes with the cable.
If you pre-order on Steam, you get instant beta access but no cable so you have to put out an extra $30 for the cable. If anyone can find a good pre-order deal on the digital copy somewhere I would pick that up and the cable seperately.
Right now I have 25% off promo code (from the Assassin’s Creed price error) that works on (in-stock) titles at the Ubi store. I’m hoping it works on the game once it officially releases but if you guys can find me a better deal that would be pretty awesome :P.
