Nuclear Dawn is on sale for 70% off at GamersGate / GamersGate UK. If you wait until later today you’ll be able to try the game out for free as part of a Steam Free Weekend.
Steam will also have the game on sale but reportedly only at 40% off. I would just wait and see because Amazon might try to beat the price at both sites on their Late Breaking Game Deals page. They had it on their site on December 1st for Day 3 of their Game Downloads 19 Days of Deals sale.

This game uses Steamworks, so you’ll have to activate it on Steam no matter where you buy it from.
It’s a RTS / FPS hybrid game. Similar to Natural Selection. Sounds like it has a learning curve and the community is kind of small, but a big update recently came out for the game. It has a 71/100 metascore.
