Sorry for the lack of updates. I was out of town this past weekend and today was catch up day. I got a chance to hit up the Uniqlo store. Pretty sweet.

Quick update for now.

  • Direct2Drive / Direct2Drive UK is doing some kind of Buy 1 get 1 free promo for Cyber Monday. They’re calling it the 2 for one sale. Best deal would be the Fallout 3 GOTY + Fallout New Vegas combo for $19.95. Everything else is eh.

  • Amazon has a Cyber Monday Sale going on. Also similar to their previous Black Friday sale but some of the discounts are less than before.
  • Steam has disappointed me and is not even doing a Cyber Monday deal. Maybe they’re protesting? Oh well, they’re Winter Sale is coming up and they already took a lot of money from me during their Autumn Sale. I picked up Limbo and I have to say that game is seriously awesome. Love the puzzles so far. At some points I’ll get stuck and then I’ll want to rage quit. But then the lightbulb goes off and I’m like whoa that’s awesome. Love the animation too. Spider web thing made me laugh :P. Try the demo out. Pick it up next time it goes on sale. Or pick it up full price. Probably worth it although I don’t see this game having a whole lot of replayability.

Yeah unfortunately, I think their deals are usually North america only. I do know some people have been able to get deals by using a VPN. Same thing for Amazon.

I’ll try to make a generic post about region restrictions when I get a chance.

I use VPN and connect to a US ip address. No problem of browsing the origin store but too bad payment via paypal shows – payment authorization failed. Not sure if it was the address matching between my paypal and origin account cause the problem. I had google it and many users complaint about it too at EA forum. Same goes w EA web store.

LoL no offer for asia country , as if we are not supporting EA games lol …
