Good Old Games (GOG) has Serious Sam: The First Encounter for a low low price of $2.39.
Note: This is NOT the updated HD version of the game. This is the original game in all its pixelated glory.
The HD version is available on Steam and Direct2Drive for $14.95. D2D would be cheaper if you used the 20% off coupon: MARCHMADNESS. I think the HD version would be a better buy if you’re looking to play online. The game is crazy chaotic in a fun way online. You’ve got people dying left and right. Crazy weapons flying everywhere. Huuuuge Boss battles that are just insane. Love it.
If you’ve never played Serious Sam, then you’re in for a treat. For $2.39 I definitely can recommend the game. It’ll look a little dated but really the game is just too fun not to enjoy.
