Looks like Intel has their own digital distribution service called Intel AppUp.
The Intel AppUpSM center delivers all the latest PC apps, all in one convenient place. With tons of apps from functional to fun-there’s no better place to get more out of your PC than the Intel AppUpSMcenter.
Every app is scanned by Intel for your protection. And if you don’t love your new app you get your money back, guaranteed.
Maybe they’re gearing up for Windows 8?
Anyway if you download their downloader program called the “Intel AppUp Center”, then register an account (name, email, password), you’ll get a free copy of Angry Birds Rio and Chicken Invaders 4 for the PC. I signed up so I can play on my netbook.
Edit: Whoa, just realized Rio means Rio the movie. Loved that movie. “Fly Love” Clip from the movie.
Once you download the game, you can close the Intel AppUp Center client and just click on the Shortcut for the app/game to start it up. You should even be able to delete the Intel program. Might want to check it out though. Windows 8 is supposed to have a similar interface. A la smartphone icons.
