Valve has launched the beta of their new Steam Market service. You can use it to buy and sell in-game items for Steam Wallet funds. So far it’s only items for Team Fortress 2 and DOTA 2.
I believe you have to have Steam Guard enabled for 15 days before you can buy and sell.
