Looks like Amazon has brought back their Late-Breaking Deals page. Basically, they’ll most likely be pricematching most North American based digital distribution site prices. (Mostly Steam).
So if you see a game go on sale at Steam, check the Late-Breaking deals page later in the day and you might be able to pick the game up for the same price or cheaper. Couple of reasons you might want to pick them up at Amazon. 1) You’ll get a credit that can be used towards certain games in January. 2) You’ll be able to get around regional pricing if you’re in certain countries such as Austrailia. Just make sure the game is not region-locked.
