Quakecon is going on so steam is running a Quakecon Weekend Sale. Goes from August 2 – August 5, 2012.
There’s a blanket 25% discount on the Bethesda and ID catalogs. In addition there will be a daily deal of some sort. The daily deal for day one is Skyrim at 50% off. The rest of the Elder Scrolls series is also on sale for a big discount.
– The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition = $6.79 / £4.41 / €6.79 (66% off)
Make me want to play some QW again. I remember the first time I read Thresh’s Quake bible. That’s when I went from a pure KB/controller player to a KB+Mouse. That game kept evolving too. Threewave mod. Quake Arena. Clan Arena. Team Fortress. MegaTF. ShakaMod. It sped up like crazy when everyone started bunny hopping. Some guys were always using weird fovs other than 90 but now players are using crazy fisheyed settings from what I hear. Not sure I can do that without getting sick.
Also way off topic but someone needs to release No One Lives Forever to a digital distribution site.
Here are the rest of the deals for the weekend:
