Instead of doing a new post every time Amazon price matches a Steam Summer Sale deal I’ll just keep this post updated. Look for it in the “Ongoing Deals” link on the sidebar ->.
Please leave a comment if you see a deal I’m missing or if a game is no longer on sale.
Benefits of buying from Amazon:
1) Sometimes deals will last longer than a Steam promo does, so if you miss a deal check Amazon.
2) Sometimes Amazon will beat the Steam price.
3) If you’re in one of the odd Euro zones/ Australia, you can buy games cheaper than from Steam. Just make an account with a US mailing address.
4) Amazon customer support is top notch.
Cons:
1) Not all games will activate on Steam. I’l make sure to note whether or not a game activates on Steam.
2) Can’t buy gift copies yet.
3) You have to buy games one by one.
