Last free weekend for BLOPS I leveled up to rank 50. It’s a lot faster leveling than Bad Company 2. But I think I prefer the Black Ops leveling more than BC2. In BC2 you can have everything unlocked by level 20 or so. The rest of the time you’re just grinding it out to get to 50. I don’t think you unlock anything else. The BF3 system sounds a lot better than what was in BC2.

Might be cheaper to buy COD4 or MW2 and then pick up any MW3 pre-order deals (ie pre-order on D2D with promo code. Or take advantage of the Steam MW3 pre-order deal).
