Apparently Origin sent out a survey that came with a reward. A promotion code good for $20 off any purchase of $19.99 or more. There’s a bunch of games on their site that are priced at $19.99 or less, so using that code the game is free. The code is OS3874XVC

It appears the code is one-time use per email. Last night when I came home it was working multiple times per email but right now it’s down to one per email. You could create multiple accounts if you want but I think that’s a hassle in my opinion.

There does seem to be exclusions for the coupon. Games that were released in the past 30 days or so.

Some of the games it does work are:

Bulletstorm
Dark Spore
Dead Space 2
Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening
Dragon Age II
FIFA Soccer 12
The Saboteur
The Sims 3

I kind of wish I picked up The Sims 3. That game’s  hardly ever under $12.

Update: Looks like this code is valid in US and Canada ONLY!

Update #2: THIS IS NOW DEAD!

Worked 4 me, though I wanted to try Warp, didn’t work, but got Shank instead for free! Kudos, and thanks for all the info I get from your site!

LOL I did check it though. I picked up Dragon Age II. Should’ve used it on The Sims 3 though because DA2 has been around $5 a few times already.

I actually got the survey that this code came from and it was the same code. Used it to get Need for Speed Hot Pursuit for free. I am in Canada so it worked fine. Fine print does say that it’s only for US and Canada.

I should also mention that I first tried using it with Mass Effect 3 but it did not work on that title, although it is more than 30 days old and is above 19.99…
