This isn’t really a hot deal but just a heads up. The really awesome indie game that’s in development Project Zomboid is up for sale on Desura. I believe it’s still in Alpha but a big update is forthcoming. I think purchasing it on Desura will nab you a Steam key but I don’t know 100% if that’s a fact. I know right now the game isn’t on Steam for purchase because it’s still in alpha status. I know they’re using the Steam cloud features so you can save things or so they can push updates or something. I just remember reading a post on their forums about it.
If you haven’t heard about the game yet I definitely recommend you download the tech demo. It’s actually very fun for an alph demo.

Update: I should explain a little more. Basically by purchasing the alpha you’re getting the game as is along with the future updates. Similar to the way a minecraft purchase works. There should be a better explanation on their blog.
